"Bidding on Priceline can be an intimidating experience if you are not sure of the all the bidding 'ins and outs.' My first experience with Priceline and Amber was in December 2002. We were going to the Orange Bowl in Miami and had no luck finding hotel rooms. We wanted to stay in Ft. Lauderdale on the beach and the few rooms that were available were at a astronomical rate, and not necessarily in the nicer properties. Working with Amber, we mapped out a bidding strategy that proved successful. We stayed at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort January 1st-January 3rd, for a rate of $90.00 a night. The rate for this property during this time period was $400.00 a night. We saved approximately $620.00 for these nights. I will definitely use BiddingHELP for future hotel needs. "Living in the UK I was probably more wary than most about using Priceline - to me it was a new and alien concept. Amber's reassurance gave me the confidence to make a bid, and her expert guidance led me through the minefield of zones, free rebids and bonus money which can overwhelm a newcomer to this method of booking. My first attempt resulted in booking an excellent 3* hotel in Fort Lauderdale for $55 including full breakfast (rack rate $130). Thus emboldened, and again with the invaluable help of Amber, on my next visit I was able to secure a 5* beach hotel for $95 (rack rate $230) Both these rates were lower than the cheapest available 2* property I was able to find through the normal channels.

"I recently was trying to book a hotel room for 3 nights precruise and one night post cruise in April for my wife, 2 sons, and myself. Went to some websites and the prices were rather high. I had read about Priceline on Cruise Critics message board but had never used them before. Just wasn't sure about getting a hotel that I might not want but had to pay for and could not cancel. There were many posts on this topic from Amber, so I went to several bidding message boards to get some help. I read the instructions, but still had a few questions.
